When the Flowers Bloom in Tulsa, OK

One question I get asked a lot is when they should take photos in flower fields. We're in Oklahoma, and it changes a bit every year based on warmth and rainfall, but here's a good gauge.

Wildflowers in fields - April through early June

Garden and park flowers - May through July

Sunflowers - Late July through mid October

Yellow wildflowers - August/September

We did Piper's senior pics out at the Coweta flower farm and had some beautiful blooms! There were not only the sunflowers, but also zinnias, carnations, cosmos, and other things I don't know the names of. (Not to mention their adorable goats, chickens, and rabbits!!!! omg)

Piper wanted to do a Taco Bell picnic with her sister and I said HECK YES. I mean, if you want to add personality and personal loves into the session, I always recommend FOOD!

We also brought sister into the cap & gown photos because while the senior is thinking about graduating from high school, lil sis is about to graduate from kindergarten! How adorable is this???
