S16 TTW Senior Model Team

Every year, I gather a group of tweens/teens to be on the TTW Model Team. Throughout the year, we do photos, group activities, fundraising ventures, etc.

I started my team in 2010, so we're currently on S16! And, actually, I'm about to launch S17 applications! YIKES!

The team started out as a way to market my business. And it still is, but the point of it has grown to more than just getting a pretty photo to use as word of mouth.

I asked everyone on this year's team what their favorite part of being on the team was and they ALL said doing our Models & Mutts fundraiser. This is where I partner up with a local dog rescue and we bring pets in need into the studio for their own little photo shoot. The team is paired up with the dogs and we take their photos together as well.

Once the photos are done, the team shares the images with their friends and family, and they ask for their votes. Each vote costs $5 to place and 100% of the money goes toward the rescue. It's so fun for them to meet the dogs and then share their stories. And this past year, we raised almost $1300 in just 48 hours.

For season 17, we will be even more focused on the group sessions and activities. One thing people asked for more of was making new friends from the team, so we'll be spending more time together in general, doing fun things and community things. One of MY favorite parts of the team in the past was seeing the cool friendships that came from people meeting in my group. So we're leaning into that this upcoming year!

If you missed this year, I take applications every year and the team runs from Jan-Dec.
